First Time Guest? Here’s what you can expect…
Biblical Worship: At Sycamore Baptist Church, we believe that the Bible is God’s perfect standard for all of life. Our worship is guided by the teaching of Scripture. This conviction informs everything we do in our gatherings: public reading of Scripture, congregational singing, corporate prayer, and expositional preaching through whole books of the Bible. We are a church that loves, believes, and teaches the Bible.
Congregational Singing: Our worship team leads the congregation in singing songs from the Hymns of Grace and Psalms of Grace songbooks. When you visit Sycamore, you can expect to hear a congregation singing songs that are rich in biblical truth and magnify Jesus Christ as Lord.
Christian Community: Each Sunday we gather thirty minutes before service for a time of fellowship, refreshments, and snacks. Many families will stay after service to visit as well; on the first Sunday of the month, we host a whole-church potluck immediately following service and all are welcome. We have an age-diverse congregation, so we love to see people of all ages come to worship and fellowship with us! Our dress tends to be informal and there is no expectation for specific attire; we’d love to get to know you in t-shirt and jeans or in a dress or tie.
